How to redeem your Groupon:
Contact us by phone at 888-896-2066 and let us now the location of our choice and we'll get you scheduled to start
your lessons right away. Some classes will be limited in size and well as days/times.

How do I schedule my lessons?
Give us a call at 888-896-2066 or e-mail is at info@wheremusicbegins.com.
We'll be happy to schedule your lessons directly with your teacher. Be sure to print your Groupon and give us your
voucher number when your call.
To register for Group lessons, you can go directly to our registration page and enroll. Not sure? Give us a call we're
happy to help.
Can I choose my teacher?
Absolutely! If you are not sure which teacher to choose, feel free to call and we'll be happy help you select a
teacher for you.
Is there a minimum or maximum age for starting lessons?
We work with students of all ages and recommend the following ages for each instrument.
Piano - 5 and up
Guitar - 7 and up
Mariachi - this depends on the instrument you wish to learn. Please call to discuss.
Voice - age 10 and up
String instruments (violin, viola, fiddle, vielle) age 3 and up.
Maximum age? None! We believe everyone is musical and should have music as a life long companion. It's never
too late to start an instrument.
I have a child with special needs, what can I do?
We believe all children can learn. We will meet with you to do an assessment with you and your child first, then
we can discuss the most appropriate class for your child.
Can I share my Groupon with a friend?
You may purchase additional Groupons for as many friends as you like, but each Groupon package of 5 lessons is
valid for one person only. This allows you the best opportunity to see your own progress during the 5 lessons you have
purchased.
Will my classes be Group or Private?
For Piano and Mariachi band lessons, your Groupon may be redeemed for group lessons. For all other instruments,
including Mariachi individual instruments, you may redeem your Groupon for either private or shared (2 people lessons).
Each person in a shared lesson must have their own Groupon.
When does my Groupon expire?
Your Groupon offer is good for 1 year from the date of purchase. Your coupon must be used consecutively.
This means once you enroll, you must complete all 5 classes week to week for 5 weeks. If you miss a class, unfortunately
you will miss the benefit of that class. We do not offer make up classes.
I have more than one child I'd like to enroll, after my Groupon is done, do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes we do. Once your Groupon is complete, we offer a 10% discount for siblings in all classes. Sibling discounts do not
apply to Groupon purchases.
What about the Groupon rule that says Groupons must be used in one visit?
In this case, that rule does not apply. Your Groupon is a multi-visit Groupon which means you may use it consecutively
for all 5 lessons.
I'm already enrolled as a student at Where Music Begins. Can I buy an Groupon and use it for future lessons?
We're sorry but this Groupon is for new students only. Groupons make great gifts for anyone wanting to try an instrument
and take lessons, especially for birthdays and rememeber Christmas is just around the corner!
What should I bring to my first lesson?
You will need to bring your Groupon voucher and turn it in to your teacher. Please find your instrument below for
information on what you need to bring.
Piano - only yourself. You will use our instrument for lessons in the studio. However, you will need to purchase a piano
or keyboard (61 keys minimum) at home to practice on. We will provide you with home materials.
String Instruments (violin, viola, fiddle, vielle, guitar, mariachi violin) - You will need to bring your instrument witn
you to class. For students with prior experience, please bring your method books you have used in the past. New to
strings? Please do not go out and just buy an instrument. For comfort, all students should be professionally fitted for
their instrument. If you are not sure where to purchase a violin or guitar, please ask, we are happy to help.
Voice - Bring your gorgeous voice, a notebook, pencil and bottle of water. If you are working on a specific piece, please
feel free to bring your music with you.
Mariachi - Bring whichever instrument you play with you. If you are not sure, please let us know and we are happy to
assist.
Wind Instruments - Bring your instrument and any method books you may have used in the past.
